If you are looking for some good basketball in the Charlotte area on MLK weekend look no farther. Elite 75 Prep brings you the 2010 MLK Prep Classic. The Shootout will host a field of some of the best prep school teams in the area. This event will feature some high major college recruits ready to hit the hardwood. Last year the event hosted Quality Education Center, coached Issac Pitts and his star studded roster of fast and becoming phenoms. Not far behind them was the well know NC Tech, coached by Anthony Anderson, who just had many roster favorites start getting Divsion I looks and was ranked #15 in Prep Schools by US Prep Basketball. Following close behind was Tony Taylor's Queen City Prep team which roster was simply loaded with major talent. Also playing in the event was Carolina Prep from Durham, coached by up and coming Anthony Barnett. Also bringing some major area talent was Got Kids Academy who made big strides in the last year in games against some big teams. Also TBD Prep, who just came in second in the 2009 New Year Prep Classic in Raleigh. Please check www.elite75prep.com site for any changes to the 2010 event.
