If anyone in the Midwest or the South wondered where the best young ball players were this weekend, can easily be told, because they were definitely at the Midwest Elite Camp. With almost 300 players geared up and ready, Mike Duncan president of the organization, Cleveland Basketball Club, clearly had the best talent in the country in attendance this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. The stellar event was held at World Harvest Prep, which was a wonderful facility for the entertainment that took place. The camp, which contained the following classes, 2013 (5th grade), 2012 (6th grade), 2011 (7th grade), and 2010 (8th grade) was power packed with action from day one. The 2010 class was unimaginable with players from all over the US including players like (NC) Jarrell Eddie (NC), Brandon Knight (FL), KC Ross-Miller (TX), Jackson Jeffcoat (TX), Kevin Gray (OH), Nick Kellogg (OH), Jamison Sterns (TX), Kendall Marshall (MD), Dakota Euton (KY), Corey Hawkins (NC), Juwan Staten (OH), Xaiver Jones (IN), Brandon Stubbs (IA), Josh Sewell (KY), Zalmico Harmon (DC), Evan Washington (TX), Daryl Traynham (MD), Cylk Joseph (IN), Phillip Hawkins (DC), Eric Watson (TN). Games were fierce with monster dunks from Texas 5’9” PG Jamison Sterns, and retaliation dunks from N.Carolina 6’4” Jarell Eddie. Guard and post play match-ups were legendary. The camp displayed games such as (TX) KC Ross Miller vs. (OH) Juwan Staten, Jarell Eddie vs. (TX) Jackson Jeffcoat, (TX) Jamison Sterns vs. (MD) Kendall Marshall. The camp was studded with potential D-1 talent in the class of 2010.

Standouts were such players as (NC) Jacoby Davis, (IN) Alvin Boutte, Marquis Rankin (NC), Terrance Daniels (IN), Stevie Taylor (OH), Joey Gripper. Games were set at a high tempo of play.
